GoodMills – from Impact Angel to Proud Partner

Our long-standing partner – the GoodMills Group – was a founding member of Impact Angels, and we are delighted that, after several years of collaboration, this corporate partnership has been taken to the next level: from 2023, we were able to welcome GoodMills to the CONCORDIA Proud Partner Club – a group of corporate partners who support and accompany us as loyal companions.

Largest milling company in Central & Eastern Europe supports young people

The GoodMills Group is the largest milling company in Central and Eastern Europe: this means 24 mills across 7 countries, a total of 2.8 million tonnes of grain processed annually, and a workforce of 1,500 employees.

GoodMills has been working with CONCORDIA for several years now to help young people find their way to a self-determined life. A key element of the partnership is the financial support provided for the vocational training of apprentice bakers at the CONCORDIA EduCampus in Ploiești, near Bucharest. GoodMills also regularly supplies CONCORDIA with flour donations for the bakery at the EduCampus.

Laurentiu Bontescu, Managing Director of GoodMills Romania, visited CONCORDIA’s EduCampus to gain a first-hand impression of the facility.

In return, our baker apprentices from the vocational school also visited a GoodMills mill in Bucharest directly.

CONCORDIA Bulgaria also benefits from this partnership, as its facilities in Sofia are housed on a former GoodMills site. This collaboration therefore demonstrates the various ways in which partnership-based aid can be put into practice – we would like to thank GoodMills for its long-standing support and look forward to many more great successes together.
