Mobile help for the poorest in the pandemic

Concordia's Bulgarian team brings food, health care and social assistance to those in need.

Due to the epidemiological measures, the Concordia Social Projects teams in Bulgaria cannot enter the houses to be closest to the people in need. But we are still where the most vulnerable communities live: „Hristo Botev“, „Malashevtsi“, „Orlandovtsi“ und „Levski V“.

We distribute food packages, listen to people's problems, promote the community and their health. We carry out basic medical examinations with our ambulance and refer the sick to specialists.

The families come to us on days when we are not visiting these areas. On the “Concordia Open Days” - every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 am - we offer mothers and children food, diapers and sanitary facilities to meet at least the most basic needs.

But our care doesn't stop there. Our dedicated mobile team also helps with the job search, the submission of documents, with legal advice and support in medical facilities for these people in unimaginable need.

We support over 200 families. But people's need is increasing. Every day more people, more families and more children are dependent on our help.

We will always be there for these people. With the support of our friends, donors and partners!
